Juraj is a Competition Counsel at CDC. Since joining CDC in 2019, he is involved in legal support in different legal proceedings before national and European courts. Juraj also contributes to the assessment of current and future cases. Besides, he frequently contributes to specialized legal journals.
Juraj studied law at University of Strasbourg, Leiden University, Trinity College Dublin, University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, the Université Libre de Bruxelles and he holds a LLM in European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges. For his master thesis, he analyzed the financial aspects of private actions for antitrust damages.
Before joining CDC, Juraj gained work experience in four corporate law firms and the Competition Directorate of the European Commission as a trainee. Moreover, he interned at the office of the President of the Slovak Republic.
In his free time, he enjoys playing football, running, and cooking. He also likes to play guitar, ukulele, and read history books.
