Jakob heads the economic analysis and damage quantification team at CDC. Since 2009, he has worked on all aspects of cartel litigation related to data and evidence collection, economic analysis and damage quantification. His expertise ranges from the assessment of potential claims to managing large-scale damage quantifications in and out-of-court. Over the years, he has broadened CDC’s network of renowned experts in the fields of industrial organisation and econometrics.
Before joining CDC, Jakob worked in competition consultancy and at the Amsterdam Centre for Law & Economics. He studied international economics at the Universities of Maastricht, Hamburg and Toulouse.
Jakob enjoys classical music and contemporary art, is a proud father of two and the social media manager of the best Sunday league football team in Brussels.
